To whom it may concern: I thought I was a 1, but Blackwater, who knows me very well IRL, says I'm an 8. The Enneagram doesn't resonate with me at all, so I'm not going to bother looking more into it.

Interesting. I've never met an INTJ that was anything but Self Preservation.

As far as my own type it's likely 8w9. I have to research this more, however, that seems to fit well.

I'm INTJ/INFJ 1w2 (sx/sp). For me, the connection between Type One and INTJ is perfectionist behavior. Also an insistence on being on the side of right. Ones and INTJs can be quite judgmental and harsh towards others they perceive to be anything less than perfect. Type Ones and INTJs both make great leaders - decisive and able to see the big picture. Type Ones are decisive and self confident as are INTJs. Although Ones are gut types, they spend a lot of time in their heads - not unlike type Fives. Although type Ones, unlike Type Five more prone to idealism, are more likely conceptualizing of the 'perfect' plan or something of practical/pragmatic applicability.
