Here's a list of descriptions on the archetypes: Twelve Archetypes

also here: 12 Archetypes pt. 2

I want to see if there are any correlations between the two. If I get enough input, I'll make a graph and stuff, but I'm going to assume I probably won't. ONLY FILL OUT WHAT YOU FEEL RELATIVELY CERTAIN ABOUT (it's not necessary to fill out all prompts)

1) Your enneagram core type (including iv if you know it):
2) Your enneagram tritype:
3) Mbti:
4) Your jungian archetype:
5) Second most fitting archetype:
6) Other notes:

Ex.
1) Your enneagram core type (including iv if you know it): 6w5 sp/so
2) Your enneagram tritype: 631
3) Mbti: INTP
4) Your jungian archetype: The sage
5) Second most fitting archetype: The magician
5) Other notes: I'm probably the sage, but I'm ambitious and the word "transform" really hits a certain spot in my behavior. It the two archetypes had a child, that would be me. Also my level of certainty on my type (ennea/mbti/archetype) is probably an 85%.

1) Your enneagram core type (including iv if you know it): 5w6 sp/so [IX's TYPOLOGY ARCHIVE - THEORY]
2) Your enneagram tritype: 538
3) MBTI: An Intuitive. The rest seems rather balanced, but tend to IN--
4) Your Jungian archetype: The Seeker
5) Second most fitting archetype: The Orphan

6) Other notes: I don't actually wholly relate to any of these. Also, I relate to things in Twelve Character Archetypes but not the other link (The 12 Common Archetypes), link #2 seems rather scattered and spotty. If I really had to pick from link #2, I'd pick the Sage and nothing else.

As I am not totally sure of this, feel free to throw mine out if you make a graph.

1) Your enneagram core type (including iv if you know it): either 4w5 or 9w1 sx/sp
2) Your enneagram tritype: 4x9, most likely 469, though 479 is a possibility
3) Mbti: INFP (function wise, INFJ dichotomy wise)
4) Your jungian archetype: the Lover
5) Other notes: Somewhere between Caregiver (I don't like some of the words used-but that might be arguing over definitions too much), Lover, and Sage. I don't fully understand the distinctions between Lover and Caregiver. I went with Lover because I don't feel I'm self-sacrificial.

Not sure on enneagram/instinctual/tritype (best guess)

1. 5w4 sx/so
2. 548
3. INFP
4. The Sage
5. The Creator
6. Usually I get Sage/Creator/Destroyer (Rebel by your second link) at the top of archetype results.

3. Revisiting.
4. Seeker seemed most 'me'/readily identifiable, followed by Sage.

2) Your enneagram tritype: ?
Unsure

3) Mbti:
INFP

4) Your jungian archetype:
Self: Sage 72% (Sage, Joker, Innocent Child) Persona: Sage 69% (Sage, Joker, Caregiver)

5) Second most fitting archetype: ?

6) Other notes: The site I used for archetyping says "Self" is your true personality/inner self whereas "Persona" is the outward personality that's projected to others (Jungian Archetype Test - Psychologist World)
(They call the Sage the Wise Old Man but I changed it here)

Yeah, I played around with that test as well. I hesitated to link it here purely because of my own bias against the types I was getting (I couldn't really relate to what it was giving me/it was inconsistent with other quizzes I've taken). Your result seems pretty on par with INFP though, as long as you think it fits that works.

I scoffed at being given the Joker as my second.
The JOKER? ME? Seriously?
Then I read into it some more and I guess it actually does fit. I'm no comedian, but I do love to make people smile and laugh and take themselves and life less seriously :)

What ended up interesting me more were the third choices. I see myself as more childlike but I want the world to think I'm all grown up? :whistling::rofl1:
Hmmmm...

5) Second most fitting archetype: Creator
6) Other notes: Explorer/Seeker archetype is a close third. If I had to weight the three, it would be Magician 5, Creator 3, Explorer 2. The themes I am relating to are the desire to turn visions into reality, and the need for independence and being true to myself.

This is interesting, RadicalDoubt. I hope you get enough data to make your graph/table.

2) Your enneagram tritype: 947
3) Mbti: xNFx, but function- wise, INFJ
4) Your jungian archetype: Innocent Child
5) Second most fitting archetype: Wise Old Man (third-caregiver)
5) Other notes: This last test just cracked me up. How can I be an innocent child AND a wise old man? Oh, that's right. It's definitely me we're talking about here. Always in the cusp of things, always a contradiction.
In archetype, it goes: Innocent Child, Wise Old Man, Caregiver. In persona, it goes: Innocent child, Joker, Wise old Man. Yeah, I guess I am naive, a dreamer, and do expect the best of others, though deep down I know these are mere perfectionist thoughts.

Jungian archetype : The innocent (maybe, I can consider myself as naive most of the times)
Second most fitting : I don"t know, don't even fit "The Seeker" even when my Enneagram tritype nicknamed "The Seeker"

6) Other notes: I also identify with some of The Explorer and The Rebel.

I'm really wondering if these jungian archetypes relate to astrology. Channeling my strong 5 fixation...

I know Jung studied it himself along with the four elements which basically are expressed in the four functions:
 • intuition = fire (sexual mars)
 • sensing = earth (self-preserving)
 • feeling = water (sexual venus)
 • thinking = air (social)
Along with their yin and yang, introversion and extraversion. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a correlation to astrology here.

Astrology to Enneagram Correlation
Type One is Mercury - Virgo, Gemini
Type Two is The Moon - Cancer
Type Three is The Sun - Leo
Type Four is Neptune - Pisces
Type Five is Uranus - Aquarius
Type Six is Saturn - Capricorn, Aquarius
Type Seven is Jupiter - Sagittarius, Pisces
Type Eight is Mars - Scorpio, Aries
Type Nine is Venus - Libra, Taurus

The twelve different zodiac signs express twelve different personalities and can be seen described with specific archetypes and character traits.

Astrological Archetypes
Taurus: Farmer (Cook, Musician, Gardener, Security)
Cancer: Mother (Healer, Feeler, Protector, Self-Sacrificial)
Capricorn: Builder (Authority, Executive, Father, Manager)
Pisces: Martyr (Mystic, Dreamer, Poet, Romantic)
Libra: Judge (Lover, Artist, Peacemaker, Arbitrator)
Leo: King (Commanding, Performer, Affectionate, Prideful)
Aries: Warrior (Daredevil, Pioneer, Survivor, Impulsive)
Aquarius: Teacher (Revolutionary, Genius, Humanitarian, Scientist)
Sagittarius: Explorer (Traveler, Philosopher, Optimist, Athlete)
Virgo: Craftsman (Hermit, Server, Analyst, Self-Critic)
Gemini: Jester (Storyteller, Journalist, Communicator, Multi-faceted)
Scorpio: Actor (Detective, Sorcerer, Competitive, Intense)

Based on all of this, here is my guess...

{Sun}
Leo: King = Ruler
{Venus}
Taurus: Farmer = Innocent
Libra: Judge = Lover
{Moon}
Cancer: Mother = Caregiver
{Saturn}
Capricorn: Builder = Creator
{Uranus}-{Saturn}
Aquarius: Teacher = Everyman
{Neptune}-{Jupiter}
Pisces: Martyr = Outlaw
{Jupiter}
Sagittarius: Explorer = Explorer
{Mars}
Aries: Warrior = Hero
Scorpio: Actor = Magician
{Mercury}
Virgo: Craftsman = Sage
Gemini: Jester = Jester

With the planet configuration it would turn out on the Enneagram to look like this:

Type 1: Sage, Jester (Mercury)
Type 2: Caregiver (Moon)
Type 3: Ruler (Sun)
Type 4: Outlaw (Neptune)
Type 5: Everyman (Uranus)
Type 6: Creator, Everyman (Saturn)
Type 7: Explorer, Outlaw (Jupiter)
Type 8: Magician, Hero (Mars)
Type 9: Lover, Innocent (Venus)

Seems close to the mark.
