Well Batman has a reputation for being pretty ruthless and cunning, not to mention good with technology... So I think he would create a radio controlled explosive devise with a camera. He attach that to a zombie, use it to observe the movement patterns of the dead and then detonate it when the opportunity for maximum damage presents itself.
