These are some of my favorites from the realm of popular music, which doesn't necessarily translate into objectively best for all humanity for all time, but here goes...

Bat for Lashes "The Haunted Man"
Fiona Apple "Tidal"
Fleetwood Mac "Bella Donna"
Marilyn Manson "Mechanical Animals"
Myrkur "Myrkur"
Nine Inch Nails "Hesitation Marks"
Pink Floyd "The Wall"
Bjork (I have her greatest hits, but I'm not sure which album to choose)

These are also ones I happen to have. I have a really broad interest and appreciation for music. I mostly am not on board with the really synthetic pop sound like Katy Perry or even Beyonce. I even like authentic rap, but the commercialized stuff not so much. I appreciate any music that tells the truth about a person's life, but music synthesized to make money and image is grotesque to me.

Thank you, agentwashington. Are you currently enrolled in a music theory course?

I only recently realized that Soule composed the music for various Guild Wars games. Yet another reason to love Soule. The album Guild Wars: Factions is after my own heart.

Best of luck on your paper!

Aa no, I just have to write an essay on it. It's actually going surprisingly well, but I never actually made sure of the deadline, so. Uh.... I just gotta cross my fingers and pray it's going to work out. Thank you!!
