Actually, Mr Blackout is in fact claiming that it is in fact HIMSELF who is the Genius, and that as evidence of this he posits that he has the ability to understand the inner workings of the mind of Ariana Grande, in spite of the enigmatic nature of her persona. Due to her high status, her self is buried behind layers and layers of media appraisal, and due to the sharpness of his mind, he is able to penetrate beyond this layers to the core of the matter.
