Melodic, emotive, reflective. I don't really have a genre.

Piano and vocals.

Yiruma. Other than him, I don't really have specific artists. More like songs. "Say Something" by A Great Big World, "Stay" by Rihanna, "Words" by Christina Perri, and some worshipful music.

Nah. I'm going to make a cover soon so maybe I'll post that.

6. Do you feel like your personality type is crucial in the type of music you make/ your decision to pursue music?

Maybe. My Fe needs to express and pour out the thoughts and emotions that brew inside of me (shut up Fi stereotypes lol, Fe is emotionally expressive). I have to have that creative outlet: for my Si to reflect, my Fe to emote, my Ne to explore, and my Ti...no. There is no T function involved in my music. It is purely heart and soul. My music helps me detach from my T function and let go of the need to analyze and categorize. It is freeing.

It's interesting that you say there is no T function involved in your music -- I mean the technical elements of music (chords, playing technique, music theory...) are very Ti-dependent.
You'd have to be pretty proficient AND earnestly dedicated to your music to override that need.
Anyway I'm impressed. Can't wait to hear your music.

Honestly the chords, the playing technique...that doesn't come from my Ti. It just happens and comes from my soul. I never feel like I'm tapping into anything other than my heart to create. There's nothing mathematical about my music. Maybe part of this stems from the fact that most of my piano is improv. It just happens. Nothing ever sounds the same way twice.

Primarily classical, some folk/world/new age/show tunes. I play regularly at a local church, so end up doing Christian music as well.

piano, organ, harpsichord when I have access to one
I have sung in choirs, but not recently
I made a mountain dulcimer some years ago, but am still not very good at playing it

3. Who are your biggest musical influences?
That sounds more like a question for composers. I perform, and sometimes arrange, so not much to say here.
My favorite composers are JS Bach and Dvorak; favorite more contemporary groups/artists are Mannheim Steamroller, Loreena McKennitt, David Arkenstone, Silly Wizard (sadly defunct for some years now), and similar.
