My parents once thought it'd be fun to have a day at the movies.... and why else would you go there for reasons other than strengthening your relationship with God.

Yeah The War Room was a... I don't even watch movies so I don't know what constitutes good other than zombies and elves and explosions and sex, but I would definitely advise against watching people have spiritual orgasms in closets, and really any movie where the writers very obviously feel the need to express their closet fetish for feet.

Uggh, got so sick of FIOS running those clips over and over. I just can't stand movies that are little more than proselytizing or doctrinal sermons pretending to be movies. I guess if someone already buys into the beliefs of the writer and it supports what they want to be true about the world, then it seems wonderful; but otherwise it seems to have little value in an artistic sense, and can even be destructive by promoting untrue stereotypes (like of how the "God is Not Dead" series promotes this view of all people who aren't Christians are just mad at God for some reason and that Christians are a persecuted minority who everyone is out to get). I'll have to think back and try to recall a movie that is religious but in a natural versus contrived way. (Chariots of Fire leaps to mind, but it's been too many years since I've seen it.)
