I don't tend to develop fictional crushes, but the closest thing to one for me would be Sally Whitemane. It's not so much that I want to get with her or anything, I just want to be like her. Maybe Widowmaker as well.

This is what I was getting at, when I asked about the difference between a crush and a favorite character. What you describe sounds more like the latter.

Maybe it's a spectrum, because there are also characters I really like, but I don't necessarily want to "merge" myself with them in any way. I appreciate them more independently of myself.

Unfortunately, Bo Lin from "The Legend of Korra." (This is a recent development. Also, not exactly a crush, but I guess the ace/aro-ish version.)
