Do you listen to podcasts? Which are your favourites?

I listened to all of Serial not too long ago, and I was happy to see that our thread on it was recently necroed.

From the thread:
With all the quality podcasts out in the world, why is THIS podcast the one that makes people want to listen to podcasts? That disappointed me, because "Serial" disappointed me.

While I was frustrated by Serial, I loved how it developed its story over many episodes. It had me hooked like a TV drama. The few podcasts I've listened to in the past have mostly focused on one topic per episode, or one interview per episode. I'm particularly interested in podcasts similar to Serial in this way, but all recommendations are welcome.

Whatever it takes to not get bored during my 2 hours per day on public transport!

Oh yeah, that's when I listen to them to - except it's when I'm driving.

I really like podcasts!!

My Brother My Brother and Me - they're super funny yahoo-advice question guys that have been truckin' along for years now. They also offer lots of side suggestions for their other shows they participate in such as: The Adventure Zone (they all play DnD and record it with their dad), Sawbones (medical history show about how stupid we are at medicine in the past), etc.

99% Invisible - A show that digs up things you might never have heard of or know well and just don't think about and explains their origins. Things like scary sounds, or the portland carpet, or those inflatable wiggly tube guys.

Radiolab - an NPR production, I've only started this one but it was about colors and I actually think I will listen to more of these when I catch up to my other shows. It talks all about the origins of color and how language and our expressions of color might be more closely related to how colors exist than previously thought.

Never missed an episode of:
This American Life
Serial
Invisibilia
Ted Radio Hour
Radiolab
ABC Radio's All in the Mind

Listen to most of the episodes:
Stuff to blow your mind
Freakonomics Radio
Jillian Michaels show

Just got into:
Fresh Air

99% Invisible

Listen to when the topic looks interesting:
Stuff mom never told you

Stuff you missed in history class

I usually listen while I travel, work out or when in the lab so I've accumulated quite a list.

I've been watching the Joe Rogan podcast on youtube for a bit, episodes vary, a lot, depending on the guests and topics but generally I like it and would recommend it.
