...this time for directing this shameless give-me-a-fucking-Oscar biopic. This looks to be on the Patch Adams level of manipulative, phoned-in "inspiration." It might join both that movie and Pearl Harbor in a backfiring attempt to win awards and critical acclaim. The only way to save it might be to leave nothing on the cutting floor.
And the person this movie is about recently passed, but if the movie ends up being anything like the trailer, I think he might prefer it that way.
Then again, the Coen Brothers wrote it, and all their movies get Oscar nods, so this could work in Jolie's favor.
