What can I say about the guy except that I will forever be grateful that he taught me about The Suck Zone. Thanks, Phil.

He was a great actor, truly gifted, one of the best. It's almost not surprising that such a talent would burn out rather than fade out, like many before. He had more dynamic ability that almost any actor I can name, up there with ones like Johnny Depp.

I agree. When I call him a talent, well, easily in the top 1% of actors I've seen, and I've watched hundreds if not into the thousands of movies.

I've seen quite a number of his movies. I still remember his turn in Magnolia, playing the male nurse, which is unlike many characters I've seen him play; and he managed to take an understated role in an action/thriller like MI3 and make it ominous and intimidating despite not really being physically intimidating.

Still haven't seen "The Master" but it's on my list, mostly because he was in it.
