Babe, there's something lonesome about you
Something so wholesome about you

...

No tight side, no rolling eyes, no irony
No 'who cares', no vacant stares, no time for me

...

Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on it's sword
Innocence died screaming, honey ask me I should know

Does this mean I'm energetic? More like I have the maturity of a two year-old, with the intelligence of a rock. Or are k-pop songs really more sophisticated than we think? Let's write a thesis about it.

I'll probably post more as I think of them. I'm sorry I'm k-pop trash.

I see this song as a conversation between my innocent self, and my more cynical self. It is also a reflection of how I see the world, and my own introspection.

I have a playlist for this because, you know.

The first one is a bit out of nowhere - not in my top few favorite artists or even subtypes of electronic music, but has endured for a significant number of years as the instrumental that sounds more "like me" than anything else I've encountered.

Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine."
