Conservatism is the blind and fear-filled worship of dead radicals.

Oh, we're always all right. You remember that. We happen to other people.

And I see fire, hollowing souls
And I see fire, blood in the breeze
And I hope that you'll remember me...

Just started 'The Wise Man's Fear' by Patrick Rothfuss, book 2 of an apparent series, though he takes detailed fantasy writing to a level rivaling Jordan, lol. No wonder he hasn't released book 3 even nine years later, I can see at the rate he's going it'll never end, lol.

Also several days ago began 'The Quarry' by Iain Banks, and should be done with 'Land Without Evil' by Richard Gott (non-fiction history about primarily Bolivia and the Pantanal watershed/ far western area of Brazil) within a few days.

I read that, and when I was done, I resolved to never touch another book by Asimov. If you manage to enjoy it, I congratulate you.

Anyway, I'm reading an English translation of Totality and Infinity by Emmanuel Levinas. At times, at many times, it's borderline incoherent.

I like it so far, but he's definitely not for everyone.

That series/world is in my top five Sci fi/fantasy worlds. I love the books so much. Also there are some shorter robot books that go hand in hand with that series.
