Conservatism is the blind and fear-filled worship of dead radicals.

Oh, we're always all right. You remember that. We happen to other people.

And I see fire, hollowing souls
And I see fire, blood in the breeze
And I hope that you'll remember me...

Just finished reading "Fame: The Hijacking of Reality" by Justine Bateman. I know it's not a memoir but I'm still disappointed that there isn't a single Tina Yothers story in here; not only that, but she thanks Michael J. Fox twice in the acknowledgements but leaves out Yothers completely.

It's a good book, but she leaves out the answers to the 2 most important questions:

    1. Justine: do you regret being an actress and how has fame affected your relationships with people?
    2. Are you happy and what role has fame played in your happiness?
The best version of you is a libertarian. If you are not a libertarian, then you aren't trying hard enough.

Midnight in Chernobyl: The Untold Story of the World's Greatest Nuclear Disaster by Adam Higginbotham. This book is terrifying and I just found out there is a mini series based on it coming to HBO.
I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

Alternating between Virginia Morell's Animal Wise and The Cloud Forest by Peter Matthiessen. I'm trying to take my time and savor the latter

Getting close to finishing 'The Bostonians' by Henry James; also in the middle of 'Transition' by Iain Banks.

    The palms of a gerbil.
