In no particular order, just a few titles from the top of my head that cover a bit of everything and seem interesting (and that mostly haven't been mentioned yet...I do like a lot of the movies already named by other members) :

    - Nueve Reinas - Nine Queens (Argentina, 2000)
    - Tapas (Spain, 2005)
    - Kame wa igai to hayaku oyogu - Turtles Are Suprisingly Fast Swimmers (Japan, 2005)
    - Ambavi Suramis tsikhitsa - The Legend Of Surami Fortress (Georgia, 1986)
-Shatranj Ke Khilari - The Chess Players (India, 1977)
    - Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios - Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown (Spain, 1988)
    - La Antena (Argentina, 2007)
    - [URL=""]Innocence (France 2004)/URL]
    - La gloire de mon pere - My Father's Glory (France, 1990)
    - Tillsammans - Together (Sweden, 2000)
    - Da hong deng long gao gao gua - Raise The Red Lantern (China, 1991)
    - La ley de Herodes - Herod's Law (Mexico, 1999)
    - Ostrov - The Island (Russia, 2006)
    - Valerie a týden divu - Valerie And Her Week Of Wonders (Czechoslovakia, 1970)

I could have given a list of big names like Kurosawa, Bergman, Kiarostami, von Trier, Truffaut, etc. but I wanted to included and focus on some of the a little bit lesser known once as well and repeat what others have said already (The Seventh Seal and Rashomon, for example, are definitely on that list).
