MW3 - Modern Warfare 3

I just hope they dont make every other developers mistake.

: add some trivial features, new skins, some new guns here and there
: rehash old features, map design, shitty story plot, annoying accomplishment system.
: most abhorrent of all was the multiplayer matching system in mw2.

which would just make it the same concept as call of duty 4:modern warfare, with some more puffed up graphics and some minor changes to gameplay. I am tired of game developers ruining good series by bringing absoloutely little or nothing of value to sequels.

I'm actually up for Battlefield 3; looks like the kind of game that goes by skill as opposed to arcade style gameplay in CoD. CoD sucks in terms of skill, to be honest. Either way, I'll buy both MW3 and Battlefield 3.

I don't really like them, but I have friends who play, and I end up borrowing games like this.

If being burned out on traditional FPS wasn't enough, I don't like how they're done anyways. The targetting is cheap, and in multiplayer, the maps seem to encourage a lot of cheap kills. I'm not trying to whine, but there are one too many crevices and tunnels to sneak through behind enemy lines and shoot people in the back. I don't need ultra realism, but that's not "modern" war.. I think. Or any war really.

Yea, I haven't played any of the CoD games for more than 3 hours per week; just always ended up getting bored after a series of multiplayer rounds. Must agree in that the multiplayer gameplay (and maps) don't exactly offer the right kind of 'feel' to get you engaged. The only good one happened to be MW2 for its fast paced gameplay. Therefore I hope MW3 offers some advancements 'cause CoD is seriously going out the window!

Machinima;- this is the site I go on to get my know how's if the game, whichever game it is, is good. This one compares the main aspects between MW3 and the fabulous Battlefield 3. All the comparative details present, namely the lack of advancement of MW3 from MW2 being the obvious disappointment.

Fan boy opinion-based, I would presume. There're tons of personal engagements between fan boys between both sides virtually everywhere you see a topic about Battlefield 3 and MW3;- battling it out which is better. Then again I could appreciate his commentary.
