I can't believe I left out The Police...they definitely belong on my list. Genesis and Rush are bands I don't actually listen to so much anymore, but will go see anytime, and I enjoy their live DVDs.

The same things everyone else here likes....
I'm so tired of music, I rarely listen to it anymore.
I hate pop, alternative, rap, etc. etc.
I've got to find a new style..... genre, or something.......

It also sounds much like an electrified version of "Disarm" by the Smashing Pumpkins.
Oh, are we accusing Bush of plagiarism? :D

There are similarities I suppose but don't see an overwhelming resemblance. Not that Disarm isn't a good song in its own right.

It's not a direct ripoff, but it's similar enough that Billy Corgan remarked on it.

maybe you should try someone more traditional, like opera, baroque or classical. modern music is usually annoying, unsophisticated and grates on the ears. classical music is more soothing and relaxing as well as more intellectual and sophisticated
