I'm practising guitar, and I want to learn some songs on it to increase my skill. What are some good famous rock songs that are fairly easy to learn (not to long or killer on the fingers)? Thanks. :)

Acoustic or electric? Do you have your barre chords down?

Off the top of my head...

Rocky Raccoon -- Beatles
Wonderwall -- Oasis
Take it Easy - Eagles
Blowin' in the Wind -- Dylan
California Stars - Wilco (need a capo for that one)

You should be able to find the chords for these online.

Acoustic. I've got most of the barre chords down, although I'm having some trouble on holding down the G and B string with my index finger.

Most Tom Petty songs are only three or four uncomplicated chords.

I think Horse with No Name by America only has two chords the whole time.

Handle with Care, by the Traveling Wilburys (love that song)

Southern Cross, by Crosby, Stills & Nash

Put your guitar in drop-D tuning and play nothing but power chords. It's super easy and anyone who doesn't know better will think you're amazing.

Foo Fighters - Everlong is easy.

Here's a good one then, one of my absolute favorites. It has a Bm barre chord. Chords are G, Am7, Bm, C, F, D

Wild Horses - Rolling Stones.
