I wanted to say "RIP John Lennon", but why on earth do we need a nude picture of him in this thread?

Can't see the links from work (good thing?). But this weekend my kids were excited about playing Beatles Rock Band and were telling me all about their favorite songs. Well, somehow it missed them that I used to be a huge Beatles fan, and I dug out my Beatles coffee table book and showed them a bunch of pictures. The Yoko/John nude pic came up and I flipped past that fast, I don't think they noticed.

I thought about it afterward. There was nothing sexualized about the picture, that was their point, why be embarassed? Still, I'm a bit of a prude.

It's a human body.. It's what we are.. I guess our choice seems to be to accept it, or to hide it.

It is our natural state.. we are born nude. Clothes do not occur naturally in nature. But our shame at what we are, seems to occur naturally.
Underneath your layers of cotton and such.. there is only skin.

Was our shame born out of wearing clothes.. or was wearing clothes born out of our shame?
