a lot of cartoons I can’t type one by one, but each of them taught me and played a role to make me reach this day this way.

Speaking of Bloo

Such a classic. :D Reminds me, that show turned 10 on August 13th this year so someone drew art of 18 year old Mac with Bloo:

There are so many, I'll narrow it down to the essentials:

Blue's Clues
Little Bear
Clifford
Mister Rogers
Reading Rainbow
Wishbone
Busytown
Sagwa
Redwall
Between the Lions
Zoboomafoo
Arthur

(These are from early childhood. I would have to make a completely different list for the shows I watched from 9 to 13 years old.)

Sesame Street. Oscar and Snuffy were favs. Hated Big Bird.
I loved that Disney Movie Natty Gann. That was like, holy crap this is so cool. I really wanted to be her.
I liked Cinderella. Thought her dress was pretty. Didn't get the story at the time.
Mr. Rogers. He was a cool dude but the trolley acid trip/puppets were where it was at.

I totally just skimmed this whole thread just to see if anyone mentioned Manimal.

I loved that show.

***

The only shows I can remember getting excited about before junior highschool are:

The Hardy Boys
Battlestar Galactica (the original series)
Million Dollar Man / Million Dollar Woman
Lost in Space
Charlie's Angels
The Long Eared Donkey (Christmas special that aired every year)
Rocky and Bullwinkle (mostly for the Fractured Fairytales)
Schoolhouse Rock
Buck Rogers

And I can remember really liking WKRP in Cincinnati and Soap, though I'm not sure if I would have watched them if my parents/older sister didn't always make a point of watching them.
