Oh, yes, and sometimes I'll watch a movie AFTER I've bought it because I can only download from iTunes Germany in German sometimes (a real rip off if you ask me - only one language wtf) and I will watch it in English to hear the 'real' voices and get the whole thing. Sometimes it's just not as good in German, especially comedies.

I think it's illegal (in the US) to share bootleg media, not to possess it or view it.

I assume it is only a problem if you download them, but I'm not sure. What I do is: I watch them online first, then buy them if I like them, especially since most of the legal downloads are in German, and I like to watch them in English first.

Is this okay? I assume so, since I am neither distributing them, selling them, or downloading them, but I just wanted to check.

This depends on national law, Last time I checked, in the Netherlands it isn't illegal to watch movies online or download them, but it is illegal to upload them, run a server from which they can be publicly viewed or post a link to illegal material.

Though this law changes about every other month, so I'm not entirely sure on the legal status any more.

Oh for god's sakes, who actually doesn't do illegal things? I mean c'mon, your children who are under 18 have watched porn.

BTW watching online is legal, but downloading is not.

Best site should be megavideo, but you have to wait, after you watch 72 minutes of videos, 60 minutes. Unless if you want to pay. Then it's unlimited!

Think of equality. Think of "illegal" viewers/legal viewers. It would be unfair for you to not watch for free.

Pfft, the only illegal things I've done are jaywalking (I'm a notorious jaywalker, I must admit, which is not together lacking in danger in Germany, where if you get caught, 50 euros, son!!!!!!!!) and having a drink a week before my 21st birthday because my evoooo friend convinced me that, "You don't want to go through life without saying you had NEVER drunk alcohol at a bar before the age of 21!!!" "But what if they catch me????" "Oh, c'mon, just act like you're confident, say you're with me, and it's all good." Hmpf.

Lets see....anything else illegal....? I'll have to say, nooooo...nope. Not unless burning a CD as a safety copy is illegal.

Oh yeah, and there was that one time I was naive and did ptp before I knew it was illegal, but when I knew, I stopped.

Hmm anything else??? Um, nope! :D

What can I say, I'm an ENFP who has great respect for the law.
