Is he a castrato? His voice is just too high for a 16year old.

Well, personally I don't like him and that says a lot since I usually don't mind that type of music from young artists.

It makes me think that he still needs to go through puberty. I don't really see the appeal. He's not really that cute, I mean he's not bad looking, he's just there.

Is that kid really 16? He hardly looks more than 13.
There seems to be an odd trend of neotenia among younger artists like that, they all look younger than they already are.

Other than that I feel totally apathetic about his situation, future, whatever. Not even interested in checking out his music.
Interesting article nonetheless.

He seems like a nice enough kid, I guess. I'm really tired of the 13 year olds keeping him as a constant trending topic on Twitter, and I was annoyed he got the opening line of We Are the World while the likes of Ann Wilson sang in the chorus, but I understand marketing. That's about all the thought I've given him, though. I'm not sure I'd know a Justin Bieber song if it wrestled me to the ground.

He's just a late bloomer is all ;D

I saw some of his amateurish videos on youtube before he was discovered and I gotta
say he has some nice acoustic songs:) The mainstream shit screwed his chance of people ever taking him seriously. That and the girls in the music videos are taller than him

HE'S 16? SERIOUSLY?

A friend of mine showed me a video of him where he's housesitting for Usher. At first I thought it was some kind of joke video, until I realized it was serious, which made it even funnier. I have to admit the kid can sing. We'll have to wait and see it he makes it through puberty and child stardom.

A funny video someone showed of a little girl in love with JB.

one hit wonder.
he will continue to make cds where people will look at the back and be like 'oh this one doesnt have One Time on it' and put it back on the shelf. said event will occur for 10 years until he realizes he has nothing left in him. he will go underground and coast his way through his late 20's with the money he earned now. after blowing all his money on pornography and booze he will make a comeback as a host on a reality-talent-game television show. where he will contine doing so until fox is too trashy for the american demographic [its a stretch but stay with me] his show will be cancelled and he will coast through his 30's with money from television. and will die in his early 40's from alcohol poisoning.

He amuses the hell out of me and I love him hahaha. :D
I think everything about him is amusing- his hair, his voice, the lyrics in his songs, how he flirts with females older than him etc.

Yeah... and his voice is actually getting deeper ( not that much deeper but still deeper).

Despite my odd love for him, I have predicted that his career will be over when he's around 18 or so.

:D

I'm just having a little discomfort about his height and the girls he's partnered with in his music videos.

I don't have an opinion on he himself, because what I've seen is his image which has been manufactured to produce money, but from what I've heard, that boy can sing, and I love his songs.

AS a teenage boy around his age, I find his music utterly terrible!

I'd rather listen to Lady Gaga loophole (I don't mind it at all)..

Though he is a cutie, so I'll probably kidnap him and eat him (one day). :D
