The first one sounds pretty much like Carmina Burana
also the mass

But i guess you may know them, because they're extremely well known.

Then my next suggestion is best epic soundtracks and also here YouTube - Epic Cinematic Music, Volume I - Third Age Films Top 10 , you may find a lot of useful stuff here, because that kind of songs are usually used as soundtracks. BTW, Hans Zimmer has written some really good and epic soundtracks, fx for The Gladiator.
