Does anyone think Hitman looks unusually promising for a video game movie?

Maybe it's taking lessons from Silent Hill, which, although far from perfect (not in terms of artistry but dialog), was a large step in the right direction.

I am so glad Vin Diesel isn't playing Agent 47. When the film was first announced, that is the first thing I feared. (Actually, I would've personally gone with Patrick Stewart.)

Jason Statham would make a good agent47. Who did they pick ?
Silent Hill was terrible imo. Of all videogame adaptations I liked the Resident Evil series best. Mindless action with no pretenses.

Will they add some stupid love story to it? Do you know anything about that?

Probably. But all love stories are stupid.

Other enjoyable video game adaptations were Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat, and Super Mario Bros., which was a guilty pleasure.

Resident Evil was a piece of shit.
