According to what I've heard, it's not a new band per se, but a touring band with which he'll play stuff off The Eraser... Apparently they might record together as well, kind of like a side project "collective" type thing, I guess.

Yeah, it'll be a good band, but I don't think they'll release ground breaking stuff, if they release anything at all.
