In no order...

Children of Men - just blew my fucking mind, incredibly intense and beautiful and HUMAN
Sunshine - also very human, my favorite remotely recent sci-fi movie, enthralling and atmospheric and also psychologically terrifying
Saving Private Ryan - nothing really needs to be said here
Vozvrashcheniye (The Return) - incredible Russian film about a father returning to his home after being absent for the entire lives of his two young sons... wonderful cinematography and composition and the emotional tension is thick enough to choke on
Zero Day - the psychology and motives of school shooters fascinate me, and I have a kind of morbid obsession with Columbine in particular. This movie is a relatively accurate, faithful recreation of the Columbine massacre, down to the appearances and psychology of the killers, as well as relatively factual creative recreation of the events preceding and during the shooting. It's incredibly hard to watch and will absolutely disturb you, but I think it's important to examine and vicariously experience these things for the benefit of understanding our society and the monstrous acts it can drive individuals to commit.
Kontroll - beautiful symbolist Hungarian film, hard to describe but definitely worth a watch, has a kind of allegorical / fairy tale quality to it, and an amazing soundtrack
Blade Runner - another perennial favorite that doesn't need explanation... atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere
The Big Lebowski - the Dude abides
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind / Garden State - mandatory starry-eyed INFPness
all the old Indiana Jones movies
all the old Star Wars movies
Into the Wild

The Titanic disappointed me because the ending ruined the feelings. I didn't pick Titanic because it "moved" me, I picked it because it's a fun movie. Not really a great one, for 200 million dollars.

The acting/dialogue ruined some of it also, mostly in the beginning.

True Lies is probably my favorite film with Arnold Swarzenegger.

1) Stuck on you

That really stuck on my head. Even though it is only a song and I don't even like it, the title really got stuck on my head.

Bump!

I hope 25 movies that stuck with you is okay! I know it's long. Sorry guys.

 1. Half Nelson (2006) - What I like most about this film is that is could have gone very gone, but it didn't. Just loved it.

 2. Babel (2006) - I tend to like everything Rinko Kikuchi is in (my doppelganger :wubbie:).

 3. Where the Wild Things Are (2009) - I've read the book and I've seen the play, but something about this movie just stayed with me. Everything about Max's childish idealism and sense of feeling misunderstood resonated with me. Cried at the end, much to the amusement of my friends.

 4. Crooklyn (1994) - I used to watch this movie over and over as a kid. I grew up in a house full of people and there was never a dull moment. This movie definitely captures that experience well.

 5. Nosferatu (1922) - One of the rare horror films that genuinely frightened me.

 6. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) - Such a unique love story, and by God, I just wanna live inside Gondry's head. What a mind!

 7. Breathless (1960) - Ah, Godard. I had a tough time deciding which of his to include.

 8. Beloved (1998)

 9. Do the Right Thing (1989) - Another Spike Lee joint.

 10. The Science of Sleep (2006) - Another Gondry film. This one is probably my favorite of his.

 11. Delicatessen (1991)

 12. The Color Purple (1985)

 13. The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) - This film has so much style. It almost makes me forget the other issues I have with it and Anderson's work in general. Almost.

 14. Amelie (2001) - Another Jeunet film.

 15. Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995)

 16. Boy (2010)

Instructions are to list 15 movies that had a big impact on you, and the rule is not to think about it too hard (meaning, don't omit a movie you were genuinely affected by because you're afraid it's not considered 'serious' enough or something like that).
As per instructions (kinda), I'm doing this completely stream-of-consciousness, as quickly as I can:

1. American Psycho
2. A Beautiful Mind
3. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
4. Big Trouble in Little China
5. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
6. Rashomon
7. Twelve Angry Men
8. X-Men
9. The Princess Bride
10. My Neighbor Totoro
11. The Matrix
12. The Bourne Trilogy
13. Pitch Black
14. The Social Network
15. Yojimbo

Just a list of "memorable" films... where I either can quote most lines from them or I'd never forget their premise.

1) Lost in Translation (2003)
2) In the Mood for Love (2001, Hongkong)
3) W;t (2001, HBO movie)
4) High Fidelity (2000)
5) Once (2006, Ireland)
6) Billy Elliot (2000, England)
7) My Sassy Girl (2001, South Korea)
8) Blue Valentine (2010)
9) Mulholland Drive (2001)
10) Stranger than Fiction (2006)
11) The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
12) 5 Centimeters per Second (2007, Japan, animation)
13) Hunger (2008, Ireland)
14) Annie Hall (1977)
15) Inception (2010)

On the other hand, Ghandi also made a huge impression on me - for being hugely boring and of an unnecessarily impressive length.
