A little off-topic but this question just occurred to me... are the winnings from that or other gamblings tax-free?

I was just kidding?

Let's play heads up.

Bodog Poker is great for play money heads up matches, and we can send each other the money upon winning.

In fact, I hereby swear to agree to a permanent ban if you win and I haven't sent payment within, say, 2 weeks?

And as for you, well, I trust you. Your forum reputation would be at stake.

Just cruise on over to Online Poker, Casino, Sports Betting and Horse Racing at Bodog and download the client/make an account if you haven't already.

We can do whatever stakes you like up to about 50NL (which would be .25/.50 blinds.) I'm not really bankrolled for much above that at this point.

Sure, if you play on the fake money tables and just agree to pay each other for losses. ;)

EDIT: irrelevant joke removed.

lol tryin to hustle the fishes here simulated? I really doubt your third party money collector idea would work out. I'd much rather play my weekend home game then go through all that hassle, this is the internet, these people could be accross the country, and I'm in the poker capital of the world, I'm like 15 minutes away from Commerce Casino.

Let's play heads up.
I play for money every day. The point of "Play in a Type-C" game would be more about people from this community playing together.

Playing hu with you would be boring. Unless of course, it was at the end of a tournament.

Besides, if you're good, there are plenty of victims out there. I assumed this was going to be a group activity for fun with the members from this site. If it's about some bravado competition, then it really doesn't interest me.

(If the OP, which I probably didn't read, spells all of this out . . . then I apologize.)

That's great, but the point was to interact with other people from the forum. The third party money collector thing might be a little annoying, but it's essentially the only way anyone ever plays online anyway--conceptually the same thing. I suggested a very small game, like .10/.25 NL or something--not to take advantage of anyone, just for a good time.

I don't intend to try to finagle anyone who's not comfortable with it into the game.

It wasn't really "some bravado competition." I don't want to play for a great deal of money; I'm not out here claiming to be some terrific player. I'm competent--spent enough time grinding through low levels online that I probably play at about a .50/1 or 1/2 level. Maybe you're totally out of my league, I dunno--I just really enjoy the fast-paced action of heads up online. It's my favorite game.

Besides, nobody else really showed any interest. I'd prefer to get several people together, but short-handed would work for me if we can't really find any other players.
