Walking behind an actress when an actor is looking at/talking to her during a scene is a major faux pas, but Bale really went off the handle, though. If I were on-set, I'd have been stifling laughter. That was pretty hilarious.

I thought that display was horrifying. I was talking about with Erin and that's what Southerners call bad breeding. You should never berate someone in that manner, esp not in public, esp not considering the "crime" at issue. It was hardly worth going postal over.

If he was frustrated, he should have addressed it plainly and not burned the guy to the waterline over something he could have articulated himself about and prevented from happening again (hopefully).

A man without self-control is a HUGE turn-off. A screaming angry scary out-of-control display will either send me under the nearest solid object or cause me to react with an angry "Just what do you think you're doing?"

It's really not that big of a deal... apology or not, people get angry people lose there temper from time to time, it happens. The only reason I took interest was cause it was hilarious.

I'm thinking that it is true that nearly everyone has some explosive outburst some time in their lives. And the nature of what comes out of our mouths when we lose control is uncensored so that it is very telling of the emotional maturity of the individual. It also gives voice to what the underlying problems of the individual are.

That is to say that when we finaly explode, what we are expressing about an individual situation is actually an accumulation of a number of situations in our lives over which we feel no control. We are actually acting out that feeling of helplessness in our behavior.

What it's about, in a sense, is not what it's about.

The louder and more angry, the greater the effort to impose control on others for what we are unable to, ourselves, control.

The more frequent the outburst the more frustration which is accumulating. This is an indicator of a person who is not taking enough time to deal with his emotional needs.

He's only embarrassed because his PR advisor told him he should be.

Maybe if Bale gave a better performance as Batman, and didn't get totally upstaged by The Joker, he'd deserve and garner more sympathy.
