I was going to number my favorite board games by which one I liked more, but I like them all equally and play them the same amount with people... so in no particular order:

Chess
Scrabble
Risk
Stratego
Dominoes
Masterpiece
Cranium(No humdingers or green card in general, I hate the attention LOL)
Monopoly
*This one I haven't played in a long time but loved it;
Othello.

What about you guys?

I guess Battleship and Clue. Not that I like board games all that much.

OMG, the last time I was in a toy store, there were so many board games, it made my head spin. lol

Monopoly is always a favorite, although, at parties, I prefer the more silly games that get people laughing like Outburst.

If I just want to chillax, I like cards better than board games but backgammon, dominoes, scrabble and checkers are okay too. I don't know how to play chess. :sadbanana:

Chess, of course. I've been into it for about three years, now, and even played in one tournament, and have a provisional rating now.

One of my ENTP friends collects board games, so I have played a lot of them... once.

Although I enjoy board games, I don't know if any other board games are in the same category for me.

I think, Go and Shogi could be (long tradition, and complex logical implications from simple rules), if I spent time on them, but I have only played each once.

I like most board games, but it's been a while since I've really played many. For one-on-one type games, I like chess, Stratego, Othello, things like that, but most of the games that I've liked lately are more group-based. Cranium (although, like you, I don't like the humdingers/song based ones), Balderdash, Settlers of Catan, Outburst, Apples to Apples and a number of generally traditional social-setting card games. Group games are one of the few ways in which I do well in groups, so they're a favorite :).

Chess is the only "board game" which doesn't get boring if you play it every day.

Chess, scrabble, and some card games, trivial pursuit although I haven't played it in donkeys years and jenga.

I really don't like games that don't involve some skill, like pure luck of the dice games.

Scrabble. Seems to be a general favorite around here. Maybe because us typology nerds are so obsessed with arranging and rearranging the letters I, E, N, S, T, F, P and J. It's a small step from doing this for fun to using the whole alphabet for winning points. :cheese:

Chess is good. Haven't played it for a while though. I love Reversi too, but only play it on the computer, and haven't played it for a while either.

Scrabble is good too. Monopoly. Cluedo, hehe.
