What were your favorite children's shows when you were growing up? Be sure to include clips. I watched quite a few of the Sid and Marty Croft shows. Land of the Lost and the Banana Splits were two of my favorites. They just don't make them like that any more, although I can't say I entirely blame them. :alttongue:

Looney Tunes

I can't hear Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" without hearing the Nickelodeon ad for Looney Tunes. You know, "Loo-ney Tunes! You'll find them all on Nick! Lots of stuff, enough to make you sick..."

This one isn't a children's show, but aside from Speed Racer it was my favorite show as a child. Which really doesn't make any sense, because it's very adult in nature. It's a game show that is basically Mad Libs for adults. It was just an excuse for a bunch of great old comedians to make dirty jokes, and I couldn't have possibly gotten any of them, but yet for some reason I loved this show.

That show was so terrible, and I recognized it even back then as obnoxious propaganda (seriously, CEOs have NOTHING better to do than kill the fish in a small pond? and that makes them money how?), but I still watched it.

Ha, yeah that show was propaganda. I remember one episode where the message was to stop taking antibiotics (because it was bad for the trees or something preposterous, I forget exactly). Even as a kid I was like "WTF??"

Pinky & the Brain

Greatness.
