I saw the original about 2 months ago. The best thing about it was the camerawork, so they'll better hire the same guy (which they most definitely won't do). I thought the plot was a bit lacking, or over the top, but perhaps that was the purpose. I don't expect anything good from Will Smith.

I totally agree about the film. I didn't find the plot particularly touching or insightful or interesting, nor the characters interesting... but I do remember some of the interesting shots. One being the main character's battle down the corridor. That was awesome.

(Can't be a worse film to remake than My Sassy Girl.)
