There's actually a whole movement dedicated to this. they call it impressionism.

Pointillism, n'est pas?

Seurat?

Yup, that is it actually, but I am not really a fan.

Pointillism is a technique used by impressionists, or an inter-movement probably.

It's got to be Seurat, here's one of the most famous pointillist's paintings

Circus.

O much more than this.

It's an infinity of tiny little dots applied layer after layer on a huge canvas.

It is actually punishment, being colouful doesn't make it more appealing.

That Church is gorgeous - I've never seen that before.

I forgot about Dali. Yeah, surrealism rocks with melting clocks!

Strong INFP most probably.

I read his autobiography.

You can't get more introverted than Dali.

The turning point was after he met his "better half" Gala.

It would be interesting to know gala's type. And what made their couple so perfect

Overal I tend to enjoy Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical, and Romantic styles of painting.

One of my favorites is Jacques-Louis David, especially his Oath of the Horatii:

Eugene Delacroix in another favorite of mine, especially his Liberty Leading the People:

I like paintings protraying heroic and religious themes.
