Or girl for that matter, although, I tend to think that there's more of the male type than there are female examples that come to mind.

So, what examples can you think of, they do not have to be great guys to begin with as I think Scrooge is a good example, then I'd say Mr Deeds, in either the original or the remake (although I think the remake made the character appear stupid and did not manage to do small town versus city slicker quite as it intended), possible the guy in Last Holiday (the original, not the remake, which is totally revised pretty much and I did not like at all).

I'm not sure that they make movies like this anymore and it sucks.

In fact besides superhero and stoner movies do they even make films anymore? I know people say its the age of TV again but I think that's in part because film writing and production has gotten so bad.
