It's important to have a degree of autonomy and independence in my work, with somewhat of a variety to keep things interesting. Repeating the same work day after day with no variation would be difficult for me mentally and would burn me out. That being said, when it really comes down to it, it's important for me to have job security and benefits. Being able to feel somewhat secure and knowing I don't need to worry about job safety allows me to utilize my free time how I please without stress. I've been lucky enough to find a career that allows me both, which is ideal. I have a certain set of expectations, but I'm free to work independently and use critical thinking, while knowing that every day is going to be different.

Job security. I finally have more hours and, hopefully, insurance will come if I pass the probation period...
