Default Any history majors on this forum?

Hello I am currently a history major. My interests are the Roman Empire, British Empire, and 20th Century America. I prefer political history to social history. What are your areas of interest? Did you belong to Pi Alpha Theta, the honor society for history majors? How did your personality type influence to choose being a history major? I chose it because I am a traditionalist and am nostalgic for the past. By 2050, I will be a dying breed and the government will probably have me executed.

    History major right here.

I prefer "hard" history-- politics and economics, although I think military history is tedious and not very exciting. I'm not as interested in social history.

My decision to study History was due to my passion for International Development. The post-colonial lens is pretty useful.
