The best teachers I've had were the least demanding. When a teacher is nice and sweet (even if he's a male) I'm more than willing to do all the work by myself. When somebody is an hardass and challenging, I take it as a challenge towards me, and thus sparks fly.

Just the right mix of hard and soft. Uses concrete examples, visuals makes the subject come alive. Like Feynman, physics and the bowling ball.

I really don't know what type.
