Type: INFP, probably.
Job: Looks and social interaction based, not really a long-term fit for me.
Major: Global Studies. (Politics, culture, markets.)
Career: God, no idea. I always zoom off on these grand ideas and then realize that they wouldn't work. Currently, I'm applying to go do HIV/AIDS education in Tanzania and after that, I might apply for the Peace Corps or a similar organization.

I'm still in High School, so I'll hypothetically answer this question with future intents.

Hi! I'm an ENFP and I will probably major in Anthropology. And after that, I'd probably (ideally) get a job where I can travel around the world.

That's my goal. :D

Prospective career: Creative Marketing, Advertising and/or a Business Management Consultant
Prospective purpose: I'll just say, "Pale Blue Dot"

I learned to dissociate my "career" from my "purpose," but that's a long story.

Major: Finance (was History, Poli Sci, and Philo) haven't graduated yet
Job: Subway sandwhiches
Future Job... I want to spend a couple of years in Finance for some company and either strike it out on my own right afterward, or try to get into venture capitalism right away... I should also start e-mailing some of the people I should have networked or tried to network with a long time ago (a VP of Goldman Sachs and a Minister in Parliament who I think was kicked out before Blair led himself out)
... VC I think would be fun... having my own finance company if I could find a niche would be even more fun... beyond that, I would like to either join the state or even federal government to do what good I thought I could do, or work for charities, trying to come up with the best way (and hopefully revolutionary way) to use the money the charity has got.

Prospective Major: Cognitive Science; maybe Computer Science

I'm a senior in high school and I've realized that there are very few schools with programs in cognitive science. Almost all that do are among the top tier.

Prospective career: I'm considering management consulting at the moment.

have at least a 3.7 gpa, 1400 SAT and go to a "target school", get a "name brand" internship sophomore summer, get that summer analyst internship (with MBB) jr year summer (prepare early), and then be prepared to interview the fall of sr year.

Im not saying that you're screwed if you dont have those. I just wish someone had told me those things before tying to interview fall of sr year...
