Cool! I think cultural studies is an awesome major. If you want to go into research in cultural studies after graduation, you should try to study abroad. :cheese:
Here are a couple of good suggestions of programs that would relate to that goal...
Minnesota Studies in International Development (MSID) - this link is to Kenya but the program also has options in India, Ecuador and Senegal
SIT Study Abroad - Many different locations and really interesting topics, but significantly more expensive than MSID

And not only that - maybe live abroad after you graduate! Working abroad? Learning another language? Either way, immersing yourself as much as possible in the culture(s) of your choice. And then bringing that knowledge back home and takin' ignorant politicians to school :yes:
