ESTP, when I first got here. The functions were all the right ones, I was just all topsy-turvy at that time and my personality was sticking out at odd angles.
Then I to shifted to ENTP because, while I acknowledged that ESTP wasn't right, it felt wrong to stray too far from my original type much. I couldn't have been THAT wrong, I reasoned. That wasn't right either, though, so I tried ENTJ for a short while. Nope, nope, nope.
I didn't identify as anything for a little while, as I was doing some actual studying on the subject instead of just trusting all the silly bullshit on the forum. After a while, I grudgingly accepted that I was INFJ. I didn't want to be, but it's the absolute only one that makes sense. I was only resistant because of the stereotypes and misconceptions about INFJs that people like to repeat. As I've become happier and the knots get worked out of my life, INFJ feels very right.
I always mistype as an INTJ, nothing else....once an INTP.
I'm an INFJ.
I'm sorry to hear that.
