I am not sure if I people watch.
I mean, the first thing I do when I am in a public space is think about where I would be most comfortable (should I sit or stand? It sucks that I have to hold this germy pole. How long will it "feel" to get to my destination?)
I do notice people, of course, because I want to stand/sit next to someone who won't cough on me or won't take up too much space or something. It's more about me being wary about people A LOT MORE than "ooohh...I wonder what she had for breakfast this morning"
However, when some people do draw my attention. Someone with pretty eyes could draw my attention, someone with an really chill vibe will draw my attention. I am sort of a creeper when someone draws my attention because my eyes remain locked on them, absorbing their energy until they leave the subway. Sometimes, if we get off at the same stop I sort of stalk them as far as I can.
