The other day I was channel surfing and I ran across the TV show "The Bachelor" on ABC (U.S. television). I watched about the last 20 minutes of the show, and it seemed to me that this season's bachelor is an ENFJ.
The bachelor seems to embody the things mentioned in this thread. During the large cocktail parties (where he is the sole male among a large group of partying women) he seems perfectly comfortable setting the tone and taking a leadership position even while dealing with all the various demands of the women. And when dealing with each woman individually, even if only for a couple seconds, he has a great capacity to focus on them and "be there" for each of them. He's patient and earnest and supportive with each woman, no matter what her issue or demand.
Given the women's constant demands for his attention and given his earnestness and his supportive nature, at first I was waiting for his patience to wear thin and for his veneer of support and earnestness to start cracking. But then I realized I was watching a masterful display of Fe in action, and that the veneer wouldn't crack because that's what Fe's do: They like to "be there" for other people.
IOW, this season's bachelor seems to have that aura of trying to be an "exemplary human being" with all these women (referring back to the OP of the thread), and it's interesting to see how he manages that while juggling all the different demands and personalities of the women.
It also seems like he's eliminating a lot of obvious Sensors when it comes time to thin the herd at the end of the show, and he seems to enjoy interacting with women exhibiting some kind of emotional drama (although he sometimes get a bit irritated when emotions run too high and a woman gets weepy or distraught).
Anyway, I'm just checking: Do any of you ENFJs watch American reality TV? And would anyone concur that this season's bachelor is an ENFJ? I know two ENFJs in real life, but one's a young woman and the other is an elderly gentleman. I would be curious if this season's bachelor might be a good example of a young ENFJ male.
Below is a link for the website for the TV show. It's even possible to watch the first two episodes of the show there, if anyone wants to go the extra mile and actually watch the show.

I'll understand if I don't get any responses to my query; most people either don't watch reality TV, or they watch it but don't want to admit it. But given that reality contests feature "real people" (as opposed to professional actors playing a scripted role), sometimes it's fun to spot one of the more obvious personality types and watch them do their thing in these little concocted dramas and contests.
