5'5" and my 13-y/o brother is taller than me and I wear a like size 9 shoe so I look like a damn hobbit but it's chill

This thread was a much more interesting read than I thought it would be.

I'm nearly 5'7", which I suppose is the taller end of average for women (per [MENTION=360]prplchknz[/MENTION]). Most of the time I don't notice height differences of one or two inches, and most of the time shorter women end up "as tall as me" thanks to high heels, so I feel much more average-height in practice.

The men I'm most attracted to are between 5'10" and 6'4", but I obviously wouldn't rule out a shorter man if he were my type in every other way.

I need to find taller friends, I never get wear heels out because all my friends are 5'2 (or even less) and don't wear heels out very often. There was one night where we took a bunch of pictures and the top of my head was cut off in about half of them.

On the bright-side you wont have back problems in 20 yrs like most women-well, at least not due to heels.

I have this problem and I am only 5'7 (which I consider tallish average). However most women I know are about 5'2 and many of the men are around 5'7 (average heights for Mexicans - the majority of the population in California). When I wear heels, I inevitably get a comment about my height, as I am taller than many of them in my flats when they wear heels. In photos, I am always a head taller and/or hunched over or I get stuck in the back of a group.

I guess I do live in a dwarf village .

Nope. Less than 5'6" for sure.

Going on a date with a 6'1" girl this evening who played volleyball for Notre Dame. I do hope it goes well as we seem to have a lot in common. I will have to wear my Clarke's wallabies as they give me an extra inch or so.

Yes. I am not the tiniest thing but I am a fairly petite Asian female. 4'11 85-90lbs, size 00-0, extra small-small, shoe size 3-4 girls (at least in American sizes).

I'm only 7" taller than you, but I weight a hundred pounds more. I've got a body mass index of over 30 and in case you were wondering, that can make it hard to find clothes. Despite that, I only wear a size 7 shoe (uk sizes).

Oh and I really, really, really liked a guy that was shorter than me by only an inch or so and still...I couldn't do it. It wasn't even a sense that I *didnt feel feminine* or whatever because he was a Sicilian brick shithouse. It was just some vague feeling that something was off...like if you are used to wearing a watch or bracelet and then one day forgot it at home. I'd try again though if fate took me in that direction but yah...

5'6, tall for an azn girl. I am told that I look taller, and I try to avoid wearing heels when I'm about with azn friends - they don't like that I tower over them. I'm totally average in Australia though.
