Should one's age be considered when analyzing one's type?

I was kidding earlier, if that slipped by you. ...Noticing a little undertone there. ;)

i knew that. :) i was just reiterating for others who will read this later.

And it's also different from person to person.

yeah, and as far as many go, it apparently depends on what they supposedly look like and/or how clever they tell the listener they are.

I think type is most pronounced in the teen years, maybe around age sixteen. People balance with age, so it just doesn't quite matter as much what type a sixty year old is as a twenty year old, regarding how you may relate to them. It's usually tougher to determine type for an aged lady or gentleman as well. People become "worldly."

Note to Edahn: This is based on years and years of real-world observation again, and some reading, but not a laboratory study, so it's meaningless to you.

point is youre all dumb and i'd kill you all for a hamburger tomorrow

I don't know if this is a reaction to being called a different type than what you thing, or other happenings. Or a rather strange attempt at humor.

If as many INTPs had told me I was not an INTP, I may be forced to re consider.

Still, as per edcoaching's "best-fit type" thread, it is not really ethical to type someone else for them, if they are trying to use type for personal growth. I realize none of us are coaches (I hope), but Mitzy is not the first member on the board to become upset due to having her chosen type questioned.

I think if you just go through this thread, you'll find many other examples of this.

I, frankly, saw your intro thread 4-days ago, and then this, before reviewing posts. Other than the fact that the post rate is unusually high, I am not sure what else we can glean.

Simple question then, Mitzy, why do you believe you are an entp?

Granted, ENTP, ENFP, and ESFP all belong to the same interaction style.

an EP is an EP, but the internal mechanisms are different.

Age matters some, but age can't explain it all away ;)

LOL I don't need to know you well to know your type.
Anyone who knows anything about type knows that.

Anyone who tells you differently doesn't know enough about type.

Pretty defended system huh?
Its more of a pain in the ass than fort Knox.
Most everyone gives up. The rest go mad trying to get in.

Also, it's a common habit of the E__P types to have very little self awareness.
So yes, we probably do know you better than you.
