I'm into typology since more than a year, and now I ended up considering myself ISTP 8w9 (one of my first typings). In the meantime I considered a lot of other types, because I want my typing to be accurate, and I don't want to label myself with the wrong type. Despite the 8, I'm a VERY introverted ISTP. The thing about enneagram is that, for me, it makes more sense to consider the basic desire and basic fear, and those of the 8 are the only ones I can relate to. It doesn't matter if in real life I'm not a bully or an arrogant person (that's pretty much the 8 stereotype). I also really would love to know what you think about a possible ISFP typing. I want to tag Mal12345 (I hope it doesn't bother you) because in my first typing thread more than one year ago you were the first one to actually consider me ISTP 8w9 and you appeared to me as a very knowleable person, so I'd love to have your opinion one last time. Now it's time to start answering the questions:

1) During your youth (7'ish to 18), What did you focus on the most(A)? What activities did you like and why(B)? What aspect of life was lax in attention(C)?
(A) On myself, ways to have fun, plans to dropout school, and ways to show my strenght (when needed) and proving that despite my quite behaviour I deserved respect.
(B) Playing soccer, videogames, watching soccer, drawing, playing and listening to music, and eating.
(C) Relationships (friendship and love) above all. I pretty much was a robot. Only in the last years I'm starting to feel the need for connection, and I learned that love is actually the most beautiful thing in life. Also school. I never payed attention. I sleeped during classes, and when I woke up I preferred to draw anime characters, demons and skeletons. Despite of this, I was the kind of student to get good grades despite I never studied and never did homework (I'm quite smart and my extreme laziness easily lets me find shortcuts).

2) You're in you senior year of high school (or whatever equivalent) and you are looking back over the last couple of years. What was your favorite aspect of the schooling experience and why? Favorite subject and why?
I hated absolutely EVERYTHING about school. It felt like a prison. I only liked the gym classes, religion, and the art ones (when we painted). I sometimes liked chemistry and history. I can't choose between these, so I'll tell you the reason for all of these:
Gym: It was mostly boring, but usually in the last minutes we played soccer.
Religion: It wasn't even a real subject and you didn't get a real grade at the end of the year. But it was the best weekly hour to sleep.
Art: I was the best at drawing in my class. And being the best without effort got no price.
Chemistry: The elements... the reactions... it looks like magic.
History: I tend to despise fantasy. But who needs fantasy when you can read about real conquering? Entire empires built from ashes. It's just beautiful.

3) A couple of friends call and invite you out to a restaurant. While there, you all are pleasantly conversing and one of your friends makes a comment that irked you. What are your thoughts and how do you respond?
I tend to not care unless it's something mean about me. But since the question says that the comment irked me, I'm gonna imply that it was a mean comment against me. Probably I'm gonna think that if I do not respond I'm gonna look weak and will not be worthy of respect. For this reason I'll respond in a way that will show to the rest of the people that I'm right and that I've put him in his place. Look weak once, and people will torment you forever.

4) Your schooling is done and it's time to strike out into the world!! What sort of career do you want to go into and why?
A) After high school I try to find a random job, because I just care about the money;
B) I fail to find a job, because my country gives little to no job opportunities, so I decide to get into university to get a little more chance;
C) I hate university, and in the meantime I still try to find a random job, and try to get into the military forces;
D) I'm still at point C, and I don't know what I will do in the future. But I can tell you that I would LOVE to become a soldier, because it's a physical job and the grades are cool.

5) A friend is getting married and they put you in charge of the cake. You narrowed it down to two places to make an order. The first is a bakery with whom you got a good relationship with. The other is a well-known cake maker to whom everyone goes to (your friend hints to it as well). Which one do you choose and why?
The second one. My friend hinted to it aswell. It's his marriage and his responsability, not mine.

6) You get into an argument with a friend/family member/co-worker. They criticize one of your personality traits. What would most likely be the focus of their critique?
The fact that I never socialise and am cold. And the fact that I'm not a constant person, and this causes me to be a little bit unreliable sometimes.

7) It's New Years! You and your friends are out and about after a party. Being drunk, one of your friends suggests to do something....'questionable' (Nothing serious. I.e, drugs, escort, etc.). What are your thoughts and how do you respond?
It depends on what you mean with questionable. It's nearly impossible to answer such a vague question. If it's something funny that I like, and there will be no permanent damage to people or things, I think I may like his suggestion.

8) A new art gallery opens up and your friend wants to go to the grand opening. Both of you analyze all the paintings and sculptures. What about these works warrants the most attention from you? Why?
"How is it possible to paint in such a realistic way?"

9) You have been saving up and decide to buy a new car. At the dealership, you peruse the lots. What are the criteria and factors that influence your choice? Which one would initially be your main focus?
If I'm there, it means I already know which car I'm gonna buy, because I already analyzed the cars on my computer. The factors that influence my choice are:
A) Cost;
B) Aesthetique;
C) Price/quality ratio.

10) Yep, you now have a kid (sex of your choosing)! Years pass and they are now 15 years old. You notice their personality traits are the complete opposite of how you were when at their age. Describe how they are. Describe the possible conflicts that would arise between both of you due to differing temperaments.
A completely douchey pervert who only thinks about chasing girls, studying, books and fashion. He got no dignity, and he doesn't care when people don't respect him. He would probably be a super happy person.
Conflicts? I would probably try to transform him into a decent human being, but would fail, so we probably would just nearly never talk because we would hate eachother.

11) What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type?
I consider myself to be a thinker, because my thoughts and the way I act are very mechanic and logic, but often I just act because of how I feel. And despite being tough on the surface, I'm kind of fragile on the inside. People would never suspect that I actually tend to take things personally. And despite thinking I'm a sensor, because my interests are pretty much those of a textbook sensor, I tend to be oblivious to what immediately surrounds me. I'm the kind of person to lose his sunglasses, search them, and after a while realise that they were in his hand.

In the 4th answer I didn't underline the letters, but I underlined them in all the other answers. Uhm. It irritates me.

I write it here instead of just editing the post for two reasons:
1) I don't like the look of the edited messages, with the "this post was edited", or something similar, sentence;
2) It may hint a function (Si or Ti maybe?).

Based on everything I would say ISTP. Obliviousness to your immediate surroundings just means that Se is not your primary, and your focus is primarily internal. But your ideas (imaginings) will revolve around stereotypical Sensor things (Se secondary). Because it is only secondary you will be hesitant to make real those Se imaginings. Whatever purpose Ti-dominance has for you, those premises will cause you to second-guess yourself.
