Come on. Comeoooonnnnn. cmoooon... type me. What's wrong with you people? Everyone elsee always gets like 25 replies per post and mine always get none. I feel so left out. haha. :shock::) (boobs. one sad one happy)

Someone recently informed me answering some of these comprehensive questionnaires is a particularly effective tool for allowing others to more accurately guess your type, so here's mine:

1. Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances? Other useful information includes sex, age, and current state of mind.

2. Study these two images here and here. Which one do you prefer and why? How would you describe it?

No links .

3. Please describe yourself as a person if you were to introduce yourself to someone else like in a cover letter. What kind of person are you and why?

Can't answer this one sincerely because if I were describing myself in a cover letter or the like, I would trump up my own abilities and character to impress whoever was reading it thus increasing my likelihood of gaining employment or membership somewhere or whatever the hell cover letters are typically useful for.

4. What kind of person would you LIKE to be? Why? What kind of person would you NOT want to be? Why?

Person I'd like to be: Some kind of enigmatic figurehead with plenty of effortless charm/charisma who does something important/controversial that will leave me with a lasting legacy after I die.
Person I wouldn't like to be: Any combination of a child molester, hippie, redneck, fraternity brother, rapist, woman killer, child killer, deadbeat, or cheater (in terms of relationships).

5. Do you think there are any differences to how you described yourself and how people actually perceive you? How do you think others would describe you? If there are any discrepancies between these two that are you are aware of; do you know why exactly that is?

Idk. People perceive me in a similar way to how I think I am about half the time I'd say. They have described me using either flattering language that would make me feel boastful if I went into specifics or or unflattering language that would hurt my pride if I went into specifics.

6. What in life do you find to be of importance? Why? If you are unsure you can always take the Value Test and post the results here. Do note that it helps if you narrow it down to 20 or ideally 10 values as suggested at stage 2.

My ValueTest results:
Economic = 10
Theoretical = 11
Aesthetic = 7
Social = 9
Political = 14
Religious = 9

Scores range between 04 and 16:

15-16 Strongest values
12-14 Strong values
09-11 Middle values
06-08 Weak values
04-05 Weakest values

7. How do you react to new situations in your life? Can you describe an event in your life where you were in an unknown situation? How did you deal with it?

I don't take well to new situations. Many environments unsettle me because I am sensitive to the "atmosphere" of my surroundings, as corny as that may sound.

8. Please describe yourself when you are in a stressful situation. How do you act and why? Real life experiences are welcome.

During stressful episodes, I am usually frantic, bloated, aching, pacing, and obsessive unless of course I find myself in a stress evoking setting like prison (haven't been just an example) where unwritten rules call for the repression of such behavior as a matter of social and sometimes literal survival.

9. Please describe yourself when you are in an enjoyable situation. How do you act and why? Real life experiences are welcome.

I can become euphoric, giddy, hopeful, hungry, creative, or sleepy. Unless I'm in a mildly enjoyable situation that blurs the line between boredom and legitimate enjoyment such as watching a rerun of some show I've seen a million times, in which case I'd probably just kick back and wish I was in a different situation.

10. Describe your relationship to socialization. How do you perceive one-on-one interaction? How do you perceive group interaction?

One on one and group interaction are equally good and bad for me. Both have their perks, and both can go south easily. The former is more satisfying and likely to create real friendships, but can become awkward quicker. The latter requires less effort by making it to where you can rely on others to speak when you run out of things to say yet still participate by silently paying attention to where other participants have picked up, but has the drawback of possibly leaving you feeling excluded if your silence continues for too long.

11. Describe your relationship to society. What are the elements of it you hold important or unimportant (e.g. social norms, values, customs, traditions)? How do you see people as a whole?

Society is a confusing enterprise full of unpredictable motives, flawed, convoluted systems, and too many options with not enough people forcing me to go down a particular path. There is real beauty in it though, as anyone in good emotional health will understand without requiring an explanation.

12. Describe your relationship to authority. How do you perceive authority? What does it mean to you, and how do you deal with it?

My relationship with authority is always based on fear and/ or respect on my part. I hope to one day attain some authority of my own so I can eliminate that pesky fear element from the equation.

13. Describe your relationship to order and chaos. What do order and chaos mean to you? How do they manifest in your daily life?

Order: good. Chaos: bad. This is common sense.

14. What is it that you fear in life? Why? How does this fear manifest to you both in how you think and how you act?

My top 5 greatest fears:
5. Accidentally killing someone by getting carried away in a fistfight.
4. The death or lasting suffering of my loved ones.
3. Heights. Not kidding.
2. Accidentally killing someone by carelessly getting distracted behind the wheel and plowing them down with my car.
1. My own death.

15. What is it that you desire in life? What do you strive to achieve? Why? Where do you think these drives and desires stem from or are inspired by?

I desire to be a functional and content individual with much money and a relevant voice on a grand scale. I think these drives/ desires stem from my personal belief that human worth is ultimately measured by for how long and by how many you are remembered after you die. If I were religious and confident in the existence of an afterlife, these things would perhaps strike me as silly worldly pursuits, but without those beliefs they are propelled to the utmost importance, for what is the point of living if a decade or two after you check out it's basically as if you never had lived at all unless your grandson flips through an old photo album and sees your picture or some disgracefully forgettable event like that.

16. a) What activities energize you most? b) What activities drain you most? Why?

Activities that energize me: Watching my favorite films, enjoying good company, escaping bad company, having heated debates, coming to friendly conclusions to debates that make my opponent realize the errors of their ways and agree with me entirely.
Activities that drain me: Sitting through shitty tv shows/ movies, people who talk to me when I'm halfway out of the door, talking to females who obviously aren't interested in me romantically, schoolwork.

17. Why do you want to know your type? What type do you think you are? Why this/these type(s)? Is there a type that appeals to you, to your self-perception, that you would like to be? Why? If you know your enneagram, please post this here. If you have done any online function tests such as the Keys2Cognition, it helps if you post these results here as well.

I want to know my type strictly out of curiosity. I don't know what type i think I am (why would I if I'm filling out this questionnaire lol). Type I'd like to be? Hmmm... I always liked the qualities asscociated with XNXJs and ESTPs. Any one of those I guess. My Keys2Cognition results:

ognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use)

18. Finally, is there something else you find to be of importance you want to add about yourself you think might be of relevance when helping to type you?
I think that cover it all, thank you!
Nope

Here's two questions I enjoy starting off with this.

Firstly: One of Law. You are the judge in a reasonably controversial trial: a man had robbed a bank to get money for his sons medical treatment. The evidence is indisputable, and he was armed. Now, assuming the maximum punishment available was 40 years, and the minimum 4, how would you sentence him?

Secondly: How frequently do you have "Eureka Moments" and how frequently do you need to research to answer a question? Is it more important to think about a problem or continue studying?

Firstly: I would sentence him for the full 40 years. Using a diseased boy as an excuse for traumatizing/ potentially doing violence to innocent bankgoers who have nothing to do with his rather common plight is about as low as it gets. Seek government assistance, sell drugs..do whatever you gotta do to do what you want to do but don't put strangers' safety on the line for some shocking display of heedlessness disguised as a noble crusade.

Secondly: I don't know what a "Eureka" moment is, but in order to answer any given question I usually put in a fair amount of research, provided the question interests me and isn't a useless question like " Do ALL fish lay eggs?" or something boring like that. The second half of the question makes little sense to me, for wouldn't thinking about a problem entail studying (however informally) it and vice versa?

Explain yourself

You give too much priority to political economic and theoretical aspects of things. You also wanna acquire grandiosity and fame and want to be remembered afterwards. Sounds like ExTJ.

I can try to read your enneagram results on my own thread if you like. Details are available in my sig.

Well, first things first, you are definitely sensing. I think you would be a T, but F could be possible. An ST?

I'd have to ask a few function questions though, to decide the rest.

Firstly, would you find facts and details to be primarily understood in hindsight -when processing the experienced data -or when working directly with them?
Do you internalize information, or observe in passively?

Is logic an observation of systems inherent in the world around you, or is it something that you build to organize the world?

Do you feel your own emotions more strongly than that of people around you, or do you empathize with other peoples emotions easier than processing your own?

Between systematic decision making, or empathetic decision making, how do you usually make a decision when friends are involved?
Do you cater to them individually or not?

First set of questions: Well, professor, it's best to first ponder whatever particular circumstances this would apply to for hints of whether or not to process information in hindsight or directly. Highly situational. I, for one, opt for whichever yeilds the best results.

First stand- alone question: The former always. The latter if you're talented.

Second stand- alone question: I like this question because it allows me to vent about how often times I fell as though my emotional framework is sturdier and straighter than most others. My emotions themselves are purer, more right, and more generally beneficial. I'm touchy about who should or shouldn't have tender feelings thrown their way or who does or doesn't deserve toxic emotions directed at them, and it frustrates me when hardly anybody shares these feelings with me. I guess I process my own emotions better because I sometimes make myself blush at how vivid and correct they can get.

Second set of questions: I haven't any friends. In reference to the handful of male acquaintances around my age I have who some might be less embarrassed to call friends, I really could care less about empathizing with their bitch asses. Only family members, lovers, sex partners, and a reasonable number of women, children, and elderly people outside of those categories are worthy of employing empathy in making decisions regarding them. My "friends" are all grown men (legally speaking) who I am not in love with, related to, or *cough* *cough* physically involved with. In fact, it delights me to witness temporary personal suffering on their parts. Not much else to talk about with those clowns if there's no conflict to discuss. Ya know, it's kinda like when a celebrity dies and you show regret for their passing, maybe even a little grief, on the outside while really those are just polite gestures to conceal the fact that all you really care about is satisfying your fascination with exactly how many grams of heroin it took to get the job done or who's gonna host the Oscars now that sorta thing. Detached interest, nothing sadistic or anything. As for catering to them individually, no. Well, sometimes. If I get something out of it sure.

I'm out of my element as far as STs, but I think I have two guesses. You seem like a feeling/perceiving type, so an SFP could be possible. These types are known as the "performs" mostly because they enjoy being the center of attention often. If you're an ESFP, however, you would have a harder time expressing emotions, so I am not sure.

If you were an ESTP, however, then that would coincide better with your functions, or what I had gathered of them. For this to be the case, you'd likely struggle with vocalizing logic, while having a strong set of rules and systems. At the same time, it would be important for you to sense the world. Likely you'd be a tactile learner, doing better if you can see, taste, and touch the object of your study. As well, it would be important for you to share your feelings, though you may have trouble with it.
I only know two ESTs, but they have all expressed that "they don't have friends, only acquaintances." I don't know why that is, and as I said, I'm out of my element here, but ESTP sounds most accurate.

Two more questions, just to double check:
In a crowd, do you feel exhausted or enthralled? Do you enjoy large groups, or one-on-one communication.

Of rules and possibilities, which is more important? Are you easily distracted?

Oh I'm no tactile learner believe me. Lectures or films help me learn better than any other method, academically speaking or not. Anyway, I fucking hate crowds. As shameful as it is, I've been getting panic attacks in large crowds since I was in the 7th grade. They make me feel like some kind of faceless nobody. One on one communication is where I thrive, even though I also, not proudly but truly, have developed some somewhat misanthropic leanings since my boyhood. This is mainly due to some spiritual dilemmas I've been through, ya know, the kind that make a "spiritual dilemma" an illusionary concept and reduces the human experience to a matter of the physical. Flesh and bones, farts and piss... all the beauty and wonder that we perceive in one another is fleeting, usually corrupted eventually, and entirely dependent upon rules of nature that seem so opposite of how we "spiritual", for lack of a better word, creatures should be governed. It's disturbing...so yeah you can see how that deters me from avoiding anxiety in crowds. Plus the body heat...oh god the sweaty gas chambers...anyway I'm off track..what was you next question? Oh, right. Rules or possibilities. You see, to me the two have little in common. Rules are possibilities realized. Some are just others are not, some are better than further possibilities where as others are not. It's quite balanced. Now, if you would have went the more precise route and made that a question of the possible vs. the currently impossible, the latter would be the clear victor. Pondering the impossible is what keeps the suicide rate among us keyboard pecking forum browsers nice and low, right? And, yes, i am easily distracted. Hey, what was that? ....................................get it? :huh: (that's my inquisitive face)

You see, the real problem here is you are too dang smart. When I ask you a question theres almost too much information! That makes it hard to type you sometimes, but I am sort of jealous of the self-enlightenment. From the looks of it, you are IST, but I really can't J/P. You are aware of what you're lacking, so you compensate, and I can't see which way you're leaning.

I hope that helps. The best thing I can suggest is find an ISTF and an ISTJ, and just talk to them. That'll do something for understanding what they're actually like.

An ISTF? Interesting...so someone who uses thinking and feeling equally at all times and has absolutely zero preference for either judging or perceiving. Sounds like quite the character.

ISTP, sorry. A small mistake that changes a lot, I guess.
