Edahn did this to me too. And he rigged the poll! May you be so lucky.

You are going to become my subject of intense observation for the following 12 or so minutes, and then I shall come to a conclusion.

    Too late.

Maybe I could pretend I didn't see it and answer questions in other areas of the board.

It's the equivalent of pushing someone into the pool with their clothes on, which is something I which I did more irl.

    INFP.

    No diggity.

Leaning on T during negative moments..? Te. I see your Fi in your posts. Yes.. you are not that in touch with your emotions... that does not imply T.

Okay I just now read it. I didn't realize I had a rep comment. Nothing pops up to say "you have a rep comment" like it does for PMs.

I thought most people leaned on their dominant trait during times of trouble.

The dominant is dominant because you use it instinctively, first. And we generally use our extroverted primary or secondary to interact with the world.

So generally you are right, yes. people automatically for the dominant, until they branch out as they get older and become more complex and have more of a function toolbox to play with.

However, environment [that punishes a particular function for being used] can derail that natural sequence. So the rule is not foolproof.

I had heard that looking at the description and seeing which ones fit you best was the best indication, but based on a comment here I search out some free on-line tests. I took 4 of them and they all came back INTJ. So I guess I will change my type to INTJ.

I am including some things I cut and pasted from the tests I took. Not sure how readable they will be.
