    Default What's My Tritype?

    Picking one type out of each enneagram fix (head, gut, heart), which ones do you think apply the most to me?

    I've pretty much narrowed the heart fix down to 4, the head fix to 6 or 5, and the gut fix down to 9 or 1.

    I'm going to go ahead and invite @Elfboy, but silliness won't be tolerated.

    @senza tema @momental @wheelchairdoug @Chawie @Zarathustra @Wind-Up Rex @Mane @Lexicon @Salomé @Marmotini @Amargith @EJCC @Coriolis @superunknown @Starry @skylights- all ya'll better give your 2 cents. or else:

    I'm not sure if I know your internal monologue well enough to know 5 vs 6 or 9 vs 1. (I agree that there ain't much 7 or 8 to be had in there, and as you know, I'm of the opinion that you're the 4est of 4s!)

    My gut says 451, b/c I don't see much 6-ish anxiety or 9-ish merging, but more 5-ish intellectualizing/withdrawal and 1-ish scolding/moralizing. But I don't have much evidence to back that up (except one time when you scolded someone repeatedly on Vent, re: 1 over 9).

    461 or 469. I haven't decided yet for sure.
    You have a weird way of clinging to people and waiting for them to tell you what to do and then protesting and arguing with them and generally being difficult, so I declare your head fix to be 6. And you vibe similar to @momental in many ways, and I think he's 46x as well, so yeah.

    I agree with 4. I believe 5 is probably your head fix because sometimes you come across as more philosophical intellectual to the point of seeming NT ish when you aren't spreading random randomness. I agree with EJCC that you have a mild withdrawal quality too.

    I don't know about 9 or 1 - I have to think about it and return.

    I often seek confirmation from outer sources with my head (hence this thread). This is predominately a 6 trait. The degree to which 5 is self sufficient vs the degree that 6 is self sufficient, in the context of intellectualizing issues, is foggy to me. I definitely experience bouts of hording information like a 5. I can come up with very particular and unique ways of looking at things - iconoclastic in the very definition of the word. Not even giving a shit once an idea has been solidified as reasonable.

    As far as the 1 thing - yes, frankly I think this is one of my under-appreciated aspects. I feel like a 1 fixed person. I feel, in my gut, that there's a very distinct sense of right and wrong and that "wrong" things could be improved - especially on a global scale. However, I also feel, in my gut, that there's often a need for peace.

    I thought he's a 64x. His tendency to project and intellectually protest is second nature to him compared to my tendency.

    Based on input from @Ginkgo and @senza tema, I change my vote to 4w5-6w5-9w1.
