We do, but we like to weaken them because they're socialist and infringe on freedom. Also, all a "health supplement" needs to do is slap a label on it saying that they haven't been evaluated by the FDA. I think there's also something about how they aren't making any medical claims, even though they are.

It's possible that Australia may be better in this regard. Australia does have a few laws that I think are sensible, like mandatory voting.
[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

This is not going to go the way you think....

I don't think they would apply to the situation which is being argued about, nor should they.

I do have to worry about consumer protection laws. Its illegal for me to claim I am a licensed LPC. I'm not. The correct term is "life coach." In other words, any old fuck with something to say can claim life coach status and charge for it.

However there is a lot of incentive for me to get my license. If I became a licensed LPC, I would look much more appealing in the eyes of the public. No one would question my validity and my business would take off significantly more than it has. So simply because of market forces, its in my best interest to get certified. However that's way too much time and effort and helping people, while fulfilling, is not something I'm necessarily willing to pay money or effort for to gain a masters degree.

Now, there is the problem of those certain feeler personalities who are too impulsive and not patient enough to analyze every purchase. Unfortunately this is the world we live in, and there is almost no system capable of making a decision that everyone can agree upon. That would only work if there was a state in the united states that was communist or totalitarian so that anyone who wanted a king to determine what is best for them can live an easy life free of thought or analysis. But even then you don't need a totalitarian government to live this way. You just need to find a job that offers such a thing (the military, for example).

These are strong anti-social ideas. And expressed without insight.

They are are a strong warning not to seek help from you.

Unfortunately your ideas gain support from sociopathic personalities.

So we have a duty to advise and warn.

It's called the free market of ideas, open to all members.

We are free to call out shonky ideas and shonky practices.

The alternative would be to give the shonks free rein.

Right, keep calling people you know nothing about a sociopath. Whatever makes you feel good about yourself, loser. Maybe one day you'll have some self esteem to talk shit to their face in real life. I bet you kiss ass to prevent yourself from getting beaten on a regular basis by people with self respect.

The word, 'loser', is an Americanism and reflects the exploitation and self hatred running through American society, and so it comes trippingly to your tongue.
