    Default Help Determining if Am I a 5w6 or a 5w4?

So this thread is exactly exactly what the title says. I do know that I am a 5 sx/sp but am having trouble determining whether I am a 5w6 or a 5w4.

What would be the differences between 5w6 sx/sp and 5w4 sx/sp. I identify with both descriptions.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

If you pass time pacing around or scrubbing your hands dead, you're likely an e56.

    e54s do the drift.

Hmmm. Can you elaborate? I'm currently in a state of "drift" but need more clarification I think.

    Some more info:

-I am 99% sure my instincts stacking is sx/sp. Supposedly sx-first 5w6 can look like 5w4.

-I majored in the sciences at university and I think I am pretty analytical. After graduation (and during uni) worked for non-profits. During High School it was science and maths all the way and I liked it. However, I have also taken arts classes (not at school).

-I think I like people (sometimes), but I hate feeling indebted to anyone. I definitely feel like I like them more than I did when I was in High School. I definitely like hearing about themselves and their inner motivations and I love figuring them out. They don't need to be my friend, I can try to figure them out / connect having just met them at a bus stop - though they approach me.

-I can be pretty oblivious / blunt but also extraordinarily sensitive. My mother worries about me a lot because she sees this and often tells me to "toughen up."

-I cry at movies sometimes and documentaries lots of the times.

-I often feel "overwhelmed" emotionally. Other people's emotions don't bother me. However, I definitely do that needing time alone to analyze my feelings thing.

-I write short stories that others seem to think are pretty strange (think David Lynch or Kafka) or adventures that are fairly standard save for a few unusual elements. I am working on something sci-fi-ish but this definitely comes less easily for me.

-I have so so so many different "worlds" inside me but I don't know if this is an sx5 characteristic in general or 5w4.

-A w6 characteristic that I identify with has to do with trusting others esp. in romantic situations. I fear being taken advantage of in some way since I know situations like that don't come often for me and think of myself, like getting pregnant and being "trapped". Ultimately, its always happened that the person was not "the one" and the relationship is brief or never even really materializes. (A very sx5 thing I think).

-The life I'd most ideally like to lead is one of travel, searching and finding. What? I don't know.

-I've changed careers twice in my young life - don't know if this an sx thing.

Some more info - I have determined myself to be a 548 tritype. I think I'm having trouble determining if I am a 5w4 or a 5w6 because I am sx/sp and that is the counter type of the 5. Also I am a 548 which is known for being pretty emotional/reactive.

I'd be happy to answer any questions. THanks

Sorry to break it for you but I fail to see core 5 based on what you wrote. I suspect 6 if going off vibes alone or possibly sttong connection to 3. You try too hard to fit stereotype descriptions and I can't relate to you. 5w6 sx is not different to 5w4 sx and both will be counter passion. You don't seem to express the analytical depth, focus and independent thinking I think 5s have. Instead I see a lot of image focus that vaguely fit without actually showing a correlational depth between your person and the theory.

I was waiting for the day you and I would meet.

FYI - I still strongly believe that I am a 5. I relate to all the type descriptions of the 5 as well as disintegration to 7. I don't relate to 3 at all but I relate to both 4 and 6 to lesser extents.

Then can you explain how avarice operates for you?

Recommend trying a questionnaire for real analysis - this stuff you've given is little more than stereotypical views. It's not incredibly telling.

Either one of those questionnaires will do.

I keep to myself. Most importantly time and emotional entanglements. If its not worth it I don't go for it. THis often gets me into trouble because if I don't see it as worth the trouble I'd rather not do it and then I get more isolated. Especially if it involves others and I can't do things at my own pace, I'd rather not.

Disintegration at 7 feels so bad for me. When I am there I feel like I want more - more things, more experiences etc. It doesn't feel good but I can't help that feeling and go for it with disastrous results. I lose the ability to make good decisions when I am like that, I spend too much money, feel horrible etc. Its so outer while in my normal state I'm definitely inner (in my head not in the world).
