So, without much ado, you're not ESTJ or ENTJ. But you do strike me as some form of xNxP. One thing I have observed is that every time you retype yourself, your written "personality" changes to adapt to potential type.
Does his writing seem Ne or Ni to you?

    In my opinion, clearly Ne.

@ReflecTcelfeR: after reading a great book, would you rather reflect upon what it means as a whole, or think of what would make a good sequel to it? Or is there something else you already have in mind that you would like to do with it? Add short explanation

OK, I can see it in some of his other posts. Maybe the OP threw me off, possibly because I'm more extreme with my Ne.

How do you guys interpret all these adaptations/personality changes through his writing (honest question)?

I guess I'm just bad at this.

True! Maybe he's Ne but used to communicating with someone Ni? I dunno....

Well I'm fairly new at the whole function analysis thing. For a long time, I was just looking at it from an MBTI perspective. But not too long ago there was a long thread about Ni vs Ne that had some good insight on Ni vs Ne. I think I'm starting to get a better understanding of some of the other functions, too.

I used to think function theory was mostly BS, but now that I'm learning more about it, it does seem to hold good insight about some things.

He definitely reminds me more of the ENTP guys than the ENTJ guys around here. Subdued nature reminds me a bit of Synarch and the zenlike buddhist-ish ENTP (I forgot his name) with a bit of the common silliness/randomness of the other ENTPs. I think of reflect as kind of like the male version of lunaluminosity. But of course, you could be any type you want to be!

This is it exactly. I always think "really introspective ENTP" because he's so subdued and thoughtful. And I think a lot of people expect ENTPs to be hyperactive like e7s or argumentative & prickly like...whatever it is that makes prickly ENTPs prickly . But he vibes ENTP, and does still have the NP randomness.

If not ENTP though, I could see ENFJ.

Agreed...that's why I could buy him as an ENFJ. There's something calmer/gentler about him than the average ENTP.
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)
